A wonderful bed which came out of a Baronial Estate in England.

CA 1899 this bed has mother of pearl inserts and etched glass mirrors in the head and footboards. One slight unnoticeable chip in headboard mirror. One piece of mother of pearl missing from footboard, (easily replaced) I am not sure if all decorative balls are there (the tiny ones- but I have some packaged. I think it is all there but will not attest to it), but they are replaceable too.

Magnificant antique bed!!! Please note that this bed is higher than the average ceiling so unless you have a Victorian home you could have problems and may have to cut or raise your ceiling. (I had a room built specifically for it in my weekend home in Crownsville Maryland, and the ceiling is still too low)

It has been in my possession for about 30 years, the brass has been sealed in the past, but it is beginning to loose some of its luster, it will take some work to bring it to its original luster. Also, it takes a double mattress.

This is an incredible piece, and this is the only photo I have now of it. Remember it is going to be difficult to ship, but not impossible. Thank you for looking.
